Izimbali Lodge offers guests assistance to various facilities.
The lodge is located a walking distance from The Oak shopping mall (500m) which offers a great variety of stores, car rental and restaurants.
The lodge is situated on the main route to The Kingdon of Swaziland (123km) and Lowveld from various towns such as Pretoria or Johannesburg and can be used as a stopover enroute to the Kruger National Park (300km).

There are also various cultural attractions to experience such as Ancient Bushmen sites only 5km from Ermelo and the mysterious Heritage Site, Legoya Huts (10km), a collection of stone ruins which date back to between 1500BC and colonial times.
The settlement, which is the largest settlement of it's kind, was declared a National Monument in 1986, and attracts large numbers of visitors. | |

The lush region of Mpumalanga offers various eco & nature activities. Be sure to visit Chrissiesmeer (Lake Chrissie) about 35km from Ermelo. After good rains, this is the largest natural body of inland water in South Africa with some 270 lakes and pans, which spans roughly 9km long by 3km wide. In drought times, however, the lake can be reduced to a few pools, inhabited by hundreds of flamingos.
The area offers several nearby dams that provide excellent fishing amenities and various forms of watersports for the adrenaline junkie at heart.
